CALORIE COUNTER - FURTHER WORK!
In today's lesson, we had to continue our calorie counter and add options like spinners, drop down lists, option buttons and many more. I started using a few options to make my calorie counter become successful and I hope in tomorrows lesson I try to finish my calorie counter and test it out on my classmates. Attached below is a screenshot of what I did today using the option buttons and spinners.
Using option buttons is a really good idea because it is quick and is good when you need straight forward answers like someones gender. Option buttons would not work for asking someone their age, weight or height because there are different information of different people. Spinners would be a good option for asking someone their age, weight or height because you can chose any number by clicking the arrows to go up or down.
Explain how you are able to make 'what - if' predictions. E.g. What if a person eats junk all day? What is the calorie intake? What if they eat healthily? What is the calorie intake? What if a female eats the same food as a male? How is their BMR affected (the required calories) ? Show screenshots for different 'what-if' scenarios and explain each.
