CALORIE COUNTER - FURTHER WORK!

CALORIE COUNTER - FURTHER WORK!

In today's lesson, we had to continue our calorie counter and add options like spinners, drop down lists, option buttons and many more. I started using a few options to make my calorie counter become successful and I hope in tomorrows lesson I try to finish my calorie counter and test it out on my classmates. Attached below is a screenshot of what I did today using the option buttons and spinners.

Using option buttons is a really good idea because it is quick and is good when you need straight forward answers like someones gender. Option buttons would not work for asking someone their age, weight or height because there are different information of different people. Spinners would be a good option for asking someone their age, weight or height because you can chose any number by clicking the arrows to go up or down.

CALORIE COUNTER - LESSON 1

CALORIE COUNTER - LESSON 1

In todays lesson, we started our calories counter by getting all the information down. We got a list of foods for each meal of the day and how many calories it has. We did this so that when we make our calorie counter, we will be using vlookup and if statements and we will need all the information to make our calorie counter work.

I haven't yet got on to the point where we use drop down lists and actually start using the formulae but I hope I will manage to get some of it done in our next lesson.

This was just a starting of our calorie counter and what information needs to be put on like the questions etc.

In todays lesson, we looked into python and started off with some easy steps. We created a python quiz and it included different questions and options! It went well!

WINTER SCRATCH GAME!

WINTER SCRATCH GAME!

We made a winter scratch game before we broke off for the holidays. It was a fun activity. Attached below is a screenshot of what I made in that lesson.

This was a part of what I created. The objective of my game was to catch all the gifts into the basket. It went successfully but I still need to include more in my scripts section. I also used many variables including the score and timer!
